Prayer Requests
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving,
let your requests be made known to God, and the peace of God, which surpasses
all understanding will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:6-7

Prayer is a powerful act. It is an act of obedience to God's Word, and follows Jesus' own example. Prayer is how we communicate with God; how we give Him thanks and show Him praise. Prayer is how we ask for help and intercession. It is how we participate in God's plan, rendering us open to doing His works. Prayer allows us to humble ourselves before God and confess our sins. Prayer gives us power. Physical strength is useless in the spiritual realm; through prayer, we become strong soldiers for God. And it is through the act of prayer that we receive the gift of salvation. When you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him up from the dead, you are saved. (Romans 10:9)
