Who did God tell to build an Ark?

LESSON: The ark is a type of Christ. By that we mean that the ark was a picture of what was to come in Christ. For example, those in the ark were saved. They were spared from condemnation. Inside the ark there was safety. Al this is true of Christ.

PRAYER: Father, thank you for the ark of safety in Christ. Keep me safe in the security of your love. Amen!

What would Jesus Do?

A man was being tailgated by an angry woman on a busy boulevard. Suddenly, the light turned yellow. He decided to stop, though he could have beaten the red light. The woman had to slam on her brakes and began to honk her horn, cursing furiously at the man. In the process, she dropped her cell phone and her make up. While in mid-rant, she heard a tap on the window and looked up to see the face of a very serious police officer. The officer ordered her to exit her car with her hands up. He took her to the police station where she was finger printed, photographed and placed in a holding cell. After several hours passed, she was escorted back to the booking desk where her personal belongings were returned to her. The officer said, "I'm very sorry for the mistake. You see, I pulled up behind you while you were honking and cursing the guy in front of you. When I noticed the What Would Jesus Do bumper stick, the Choose Life license plate holder, the Follow Me to Sunday School sticker, and the chrome-plated Christian Fish emblem on your trunk, I naturally assumed you had stolen the car!"

Are we truly a reflection of Jesus Christ, the One who saved us?
